The mindset of success when getting in shape and losing weight.
Success Leaves Clues

The mindset of success when getting in shape and losing weight.

Let's jump in.

I was watching the Tour of Britain with my wife and was reminded of this.

It's something that's of vital importance when getting in the right mindset of success when losing weight and getting in shape.

But before I begin...

Here's the moment it came to me.

Teamwork makes the dream work

I took this selfie overwhelmed with how joyous it was to see the nation's top cyclists cycle right past me on their path to greatness, or at least past my local Tesco's.

Check it out:?

Achieve your long-term physique and lifestyle goals even if...

  • You work long hours
  • Have tried lots of things before

Now I understand.

It can be an absolute minefield knowing where to start for the best.

On top of that, there's so much misinformation online

It's easy to get confused or overwhelmed before?putting it off completely.

Let's resolve that today.

How?

By talking about a topic we're both?passionate, sustainability.

Why?

Simple.

Because?it's in sustainability where behaviour change transformation takes over where traditional methods fail time and time again.

After all...

-?80-95% of people who lose weight go on to put it all back on or more within the first 18 months following traditional methods which contribute to the increasing obesity and mental health problems we have today.

- In the past decade childhood obesity has tripled in Mexico where diabetes and obesity now kill more people than it's drug wars.

Both are crazy statistics I'm sure you'll agree.

It's obviously not just a matter of "moving more and eating less" like you often hear people spouting?off too.

In your case.

This might show up as...

  • Being good for a few weeks or months before something gets in the way.
  • Always?falling back to square one with a couple of lbs more for good measure.
  • Knowing what to do diet/exercise-wise but never seeing the results you want

Now before we move on.

-?I've been there so know how you feel

- You're not on your own and?you're in the right place

In fact.

If you're anything like the clients I coach...

You blame yourself when the weight goes back on, like it does every time.

The truth?

It's not your fault.

In fact, on this occasion, you'd be wise to simply move on and learn the lessons from the approaches which have failed.

Pitfalls to avoid?

Examples of ways to fail in your fitness...

  1. Giving up your favourite foods entirely
  2. Obsessively tracking your calories or steps
  3. Relying on willpower, motivation and discipline
  4. Following a one-sizes-fits-approach by someone who hasn't been there

The last one is like hiring a business coach with a failing business

Just don't do it.

The solution?

What you want my friend is...

  • A rock-solid system that's proven
  • Full access to?the very latest in cutting-edge behaviour change transformation
  • To work with a guide who has both of the above and is willing to work with you 1-1 through your own transformation.

This is by far the best way to achieve quick results that last a lifetime, with minimal effort.

So I hope you're as excited as I am.

Let's jump in and talk about radical incrementalism or small changes.

You see...

It's not just based upon the Kaizen approach which dramatically transformed Japan after World War 2...

Changing it from a?poor country to one of the world's industrial superpowers in just 20 years.

But more recently completely transforming the British Cycling team to greatness and dominating the world stage.

This is at the very forefront of the fitness industry and steps in when it (abysmally in some cases) fails.

What prompted me to talk about this?

Although this mindset and approach...

  • Now comes naturally to me
  • Is part of my normal routine and behaviours
  • Is something I help other men integrate everyday inside my program

I?was reminded of it when the Tour of Britain passed my house have a week.

But pushing my reminder to aside...

  1. ?I want you to look at your situation.
  2. Specifically your success in your career to date

You didn't start out with all the answers and you didn't start out with everything figured out from day one.

But...

You?did start with a vision for your future and an understanding that you get better through consistency.

  • No more up and down or going around in a circle.
  • ?Health is like climbing the career ladder when done the right way
  • You progress consistently by increasing your skills continuously

Which means knowing?exactly where to start too.

Start with the end in mind

For best results...

  1. Focus on small changes that achieve big results with little or no stress.
  2. Change 2-3 things?per week ensuring you're using the 80/20 principle and they are SMART

And if we ever officially work together...

You'll be amazed at what can be done using a person-centred holistic approach too.

(Never underestimate what you can do with precise 1-1 guidance, support and mentorship over as little as 12 weeks time)

You too could be 10, 20 or even 30lbs down without giving up on the life you've worked so hard to enjoy.

None of this restriction, deprivations, guilt, shame and self-sabotage you so often see being peddled by people who have never been there and don't see the damage it does.

Instead inside the program itself, it's a game changer.

How?

By pulling the main levers for change we bypass the emotional apparatus, ensuring you're suitably challenged and enjoying yourself.

Done using the systems inside the syllabus over just 12 weeks makes...

  • Losing weight
  • Improving your overall health
  • Regaining your body confidence

Becomes a stress?reduction exercise instead of adding to it.

Why?

Because truth be told I tried the old way like you.

I've...

  • Been as heavy as 120kg (19 stone) before almost drowning in the sea on holiday due to poor health
  • Suffered a career-ending injury, burned out and suffered from sleep apnea for 10 years+

So many ups and so many downs, perhaps like you reading this.

I've been trapped in that vicious circle myself.

Which is why?I can tell you this way is unlike all the others that came before it too.

But there's only one of me so if you're wanting to have a chat don't delay.

After all "time and tide wait for no man"

But before you reach out or go on with your day, just remember...

You don't have to

  1. Give up your favourite foods
  2. Doing boring exercises you don't like
  3. Spend endless hours doing boring cardio or living off salads

In fact...

You don't have to do half of what?the less experienced coaches tell you which lead to...

  • Burnout
  • Binge eating
  • Bouncing back after a few months

When you want

  1. Big?results through small changes
  2. To go through your own transformation journey
  3. To look and feel your best with no going back

I'll be here.
