They keep focusing on where they’re headed. Sometimes mistakes show them what not to do again, and sometimes mistakes show them something that never occurred to them that’s even more brilliant than they imagined. Either way, mistakes are important steps in the learning process.

They don’t pay much attention to the competition because they know the way they see it is unique and valuable. They focus on being Creative instead of Reactive.

Both start with a blank canvas and they create a picture, a business, a product, a book that develops over time, in layers. They bring it to the market and share it with the world.
