Mindset Is Everything In Sales. 97% of people agree a salesperson’s mindset will impact their performance. Yet so few companies invest in this area. Below is a Poll I ran on LinkedIn. The interesting thing is I got comments like “Is this really a question????” I followed up by asking if the people making these comments, then invest heavily in this area, to which you could then hear a pin drop. There were no responses!!?

This is very interesting to think that 97% of people know how important mindset is yet so very few companies invest in this area. Now I am not talking about having someone come to speak for a day about mindset techniques, although this can be helpful this not going to change and improve mindsets permanently. It would be like going to the gym once and expecting to see a six-pack, it’s not going to happen!! Go to the gym every week for a few months and you will probably see some weight loss, continue this and yes you will eventually have a six-pack.?

All leveling up and change happen the same way, there is an awareness that leads to small changes over a period which leads to life-changing transformation.?

Sales Training is not the same as Sales Coaching! Most Sales Professionals don’t need more information, they need Deep Inner Work Coaching. Change the inner world of someone and their outer world changes. Doing a two-day Sales Training is not the same as getting a coach to work with your Sales Team for a few months every week consistently, this is how you get your Sales Team to level up. Doing a 1- or 2-day training is basically just a pep talk, everyone is excited and then a week later everything is back to the way it was. People level up internally first; a top-performing Sales Person is first BEING a top performer before it happens.?

Change a person’s perspective of the world and their world changes. If you are a Sales Professional that wants to level up or you have a Sales Team that you want to level up here are a few areas that will need coaching:?

  • Self-Image: if the person has a poor self-image, they will almost never create any more than this image?
  • Money blocks: if the person has beliefs about money that are not helpful this will affect their sales?
  • Limiting beliefs: general beliefs that are limiting will affect performance and sales?
