Mindfulness Ritual...Part 2
It has been over a year since I wrote about my mindfulness ritual. I like to take a moment and jot down a few quick self-observation about this journey...
The mindfulness ritual persisted via the meditative walks. Part of me is in disbelief because I could have "skipped a few" for variety of reasons. Part of me is immensely grateful because I didn't skip and felt like I had reaped the reward.
Nurturing my mind and soul through nature had and will continue to have profound impact to my wellbeing. I feel more content, self-aware, and "centered" than ever before.
To my pleasant surprise, being able to share my journey via my bi-weekly LI "meditative walk" posts had an unintended consequence. Though my initial intention was to bring smile and quick pause to some of my LI connections, it had actually served as a steadfast reminder for me to continue the journey.
In today's world, I am more convinced that mindfulness ritual is an invaluable tool for the personal and professional tool kit. So here is my small ask...Try it. What do you got to lose?!?
Lastly, I like to thank Susan Ireland and my daughter, Emily, once again for encouraging me to write about my mindfulness journey via the LI article. I feel truly blessed.
