Here are this weeks set of guided mindfulness practices (mostly meditations). Each has a specific theme and narrative surrounding them
Monday - Journalling about our VUCA World: An important part of life is to understand and recognise that there will be challenges along the way, but the positives far outweigh those challenges. However, our minds are geared to protecting us and so the natural tendency is to ruminate about those challenges. In this practice, we explore journaling about the COVID-19 pandemic and the things that we may be taking for granted right now
Tuesday - Finger Breathing: In this very short practice, we explore a technique to 100% focus our attention on the present moment. The exercise focuses our minds on the breath but with a combination of physical movement too. Do you think you can become distracted whilst focusing on breathing AND moving?
Wednesday - Forgiving Faults: Forgiveness is one of the most powerful experiences you can instill on yourself. In forgiving someone, you are relinquishing almost all negative attachment to the harm that they caused you. In this exercise, we explore forgiveness both from an experience you endured and one you endured on someone else
Thursday - Feeling Safe and Comfortable: Feeling safe and comfortable is what we often strive for in life and so this practice explores just. We focus on breathwork exercises and visualisations to help us to assure ourselves of our fears
Friday - Resilience: Resilience is one of the most skills you can teach yourself in life and this practice does just that. We explore breathing techniques and situation visualisations to help us come to terms with what may not have worked out in the past
