Here are this week's set of guided mindfulness practices, most non-meditative practices. Each has a specific theme and narrative surrounding them
The Power of the Mind: The mind is a wonderful thing. It helps to build images, assess our environment & essential to dream. However, it also causes us to overthink, overanalyze, and nay become stressed when responding to certain situations. In this exercise, we explore the changing mind and how our thoughts are EXACTLY what we want them to be when we focus our attention accordingly
The Moving World: Our World is constantly moving, but do we ever pay attention to even the smallest elements of movement? In this exercise, we take a break from the rigors of life and look at the various things around us whose subtle movements can help us to relax and de-stress
Day of Gratitude: What are you grateful for in your day? Gratitude is an incredibly powerful practice yet we may rarely stop to truly take in all we are grateful for. In this exercise, we explore even the simplest acts of gratitude
Cooling the Fire: Now we explore Anger. An emotion that has the ability to consume us, forcing us to respond in ways that may well be out of character. This practice is about exploring anger as simply an emotion, looking at how it is triggered and also ways to relinquish it through breathwork
Extending the Exhale: The breath is an incredibly powerful tool. Deep breathing has been proven to deliver benefits such as stress relief but also boosting our immune system too. In this exercise, we look at systematic focused deep breathing techniques to bring new realms of de-stressing and relaxation
