Mind Value of Time

We tend to use time as a baseline to measure our performance, outcome and success. Time is the baseline because most roles are compensated based on time to complete jobs. It often feels like the expectation is that "all" of our energy is put into whatever task we have on our plate. But realistically, as knowledge leaders, we all have a combination of tasks requiring our creative, operational and strategic minds. And if we focus more on the mind, I believe we will see more success in our creativity, innovation, and relationship with the team.
I want to share some benefits of implementing the different perspectives on mind-based performance with these thoughts.
When we use the mind as our essential resource to measure our performance, outcome and success for our knowledge workers, we can create more intrinsic value across the organisation:
Bottom line, our mind runs both our leadership and our performance; we can choose to let our actions and performance be automatic or be mindful to start working on our mind to be more agile, resilient, and insightful when needed.
Onwards,
Ayesha
