An Everyday Reminder
Dear me,
The tunes you put on, the tracks you play and the music you sing along in the morning have immesurable powers over how your day will be like. So beware of the type and kind of music you put on in the earliest of your morning. Just because the beat seem to be filled with energy and strong power, it doesn't mean the content is of the same. And sometimes, just because you love the musician, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to listen to all his songs. Some of them could be energy drainers than taking you to a higher positive mood.
Be selective, be in charge of your morning energy fuels. At times it might be good if you don't relay on the radio for your morning music selection. They could suck out your enthusiasm about the beauty of your day and the amazing things you could achieve than bringing out the best in you.
I say kick start it with a spiritual tune to make you more grateful and humble ..., and then focus on content based tunes to nudge you back to reality and make you aware of your role in the grand change ... then fast track it to the one that pumps your energy.
(Now I am on Tedy Afro's 'Tikur sew' album listening high and loud 'Bashaw' - meaningful content, inspiration and energy packed all in one. Of course the one before it was Nahtty Man's 'Mamesgegnaye' - a humbling and gratifying work of art that should be on your top track list of your everyday.)
