As our evasive mind seems difficult to hold on to though ever present engulfing us; our body finds expression with the skin encapsulating us all over.
Is there any connect of our mid with the skin then?!
We tried to unravel the mystery by going deeper at "Tri-kaya" Level: Skin deep, Mind Deep and Soul Deep to make a sense for life transformation which can help creating our cosmos!
Do you see your skin as vibrant and radiant or do you see dullness, imperfection staring at you in the face. You can attend to these by various known remedies and get tired of these soon. Skin Deep issues can be tended to as an emergency first aid but they can not be a long term solution.
Now let's go Mind Deep on this issue. No amount of moisturiser, toner, sunscreen lotion or serums will change it, unless you work on your deep inner world. Our skin can reflect what’s going on in our deeper world by mindful attention.
Our emotions like anger, stress, depression have a deep effect on our skin. High level of stress can wreak havoc on the skin, by releasing stress hormone CORTISOL in our bloodstream, which freely flows through our body making our blood vessels more brittle because of which skin cells do not form quickly leading to premature skin ageing. Anger and Depression can leave lines on our skin by frowning and continuous furrowing our brows and because of increase of cortisol level, our body slows down the ability to deal with damage and inflammation.

Depression leads to sleepless nights, generally our skin rejuvenates during sleep. If we don’t get enough sleep, skin doesn’t get a chance to heal itself from day-to-day damages leading to delay in healing, repair and restoration which leads to dull skin and premature ageing.
So yes!! Our mind can mess our skin and happiness is the secret of good skin. Our thoughts and feelings influence the majorities of our actions. Just like negative emotions affects skin badly, positive ones can improve it. When we are feeling happy and relaxed, we are able to sleep and our skin is able to repair and regulate itself a lot easily.
Now let's go to a level next in our Tri-kaya by diving Soul Deep. Can we have positive emotions and great health unless we do and act what is aligned to our deep most self? When we do good for ourselves and for the others, it releases oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin too which also permeates through Mind Deep and glow up in our Skin Deep too.
HEALTHY SKIN IS A REFLECTION OF OVERALL WELLNESS - the physical, emotional and spiritual, all three.
TRI-KAYA is the essence of our Cosmos!
