Mind Reading + Time Travel = [this]

I’m not sure when you’re reading this, and that’s kind of the point.

Reading & writing are incredible because it’s a mashup of two superhuman feats:

1. Mind reading
2. Time travel

I have ideas that I take from my head & put into words / sentences / paragraphs. Then I put these frozen ideas and put them into ink & paper (in the case of a book) or 1’s & 0’s in the case of digital formats like this.

Then, an unknown amount of time passes.

And some stranger reads the words and now they have the same ideas in their head as I did when I originally wrote them.

Magic!

This is why, even as a visual artist at heart, I strongly urge you to work on your writing skills.

Nothing gives you as much potential leverage as sharing your ideas with the world.

You never know when it’s going to pay off.

But you sure make it impossible to ever happen if you keep your ideas locked in your mind.
