Mind knows
Annette Kreutziger-Herr
Truth is restful, and Love is triumphant. Mary Baker Eddy
"God is intelligence. Can we inform the infinite Mind of anything He does not already comprehend?" (Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health, p. 2)
Why pass on something so gigantic as infinite Mind - which means right here, right now, always near unending, boundless, unlimited access to sublime knowledge, all the information we will ever need --- for anything! Infinite Mind is the source of all the capacity for logic. It is understanding, it is self-aware, it plans, it is creative, it is constructive, it can figure out anything. Divine Mind can imagine and does imagine anything good and powerful, it thinks, analyses, knows. Divine Mind contains everything there is to know and ever will be to know. It is also the ultimate and only hard drive of creation, the memory of Life. What divine Mind doesn't know doesn't exist, so comprehensive, universal, extensive, and profound is its knowledge. Because divine Mind remembers, ideas are eternal. We are eternal.
This source of knowledge is so near and makes itself known so clearly continually, that I asked my mom as a teenager in all honesty the question, whether thinking and living with divine Mind during a test was cheating. It felt like it. I got all my answers, I often received intuitions - thinking without process - in no time simply by quietly listening to divine Mind. Living with this source is like living with a friend. You know how Mind speaks when you spend time with it --- like with a friend.
And then I forget. Like yesterday. I needed to retrieve a ticket booked months ago. It was hidden somewhere. More than a solid hour I tried everything in my powers to find this ticket - everything from trying many different passwords and accounts, chats with customer services, looking through emails and other communications to simply being impatient and criticizing myself for not having taken better care of the ticket when I had paid for it. More than a solid hour, almost one hour and a half, I looked and searched, and frankly not at all peaceful and relaxed. Where was this ticket, for heaven's sakes?
