Mind Games Part-1

Mind is blind and has no power of discrimination. It is the stage, a backdrop on which the drama of life is played.

Mind is the indiscriminate recorder of all information. It is the google of all googles. Mind receives and stores signals from the five senses of perception, which do not give complete information of the objective world. However, the mind programmes and reprograms itself based upon the half backed information it receives. Therefore, its data bank constantly deteriorates and creates devolutionary propensities and tendencies.

This is evident in the experience of sorrow and suffering, sickness and disease, and finally to the Sixth Mass Extinction of the world,.

How to get out of the Matrix of the mind? Where is the Red Pill?

Mind and Meditation:

There are two principles “The Conscious Principle” and the “Matter Principle”. Though the mind is inflicted and affected by the matter principle (Physical nervous system) yet it can be overpowered by the Conscious Principle (Thoughts, emotions and feelings).

The red Pillis invocation of the higher power, Buddhi (Intellect), which is directly connected to the state of perfection or the singularity or the truth.

The mind under the reins of five senses of perception creates a circular motion of programs and reprogramsuntil it annihilates itself.

On the other hand mind, under the reins of Buddhi creates a linear motion and ejects it out of the program. Brain has neural connections of propensities and tendencies but Buddhi has power to alter the connections.

Meditation (It is only a small but important part) of the linearity of the program.

Genesis of thought:

Innovations, ideas, intentions are thoughtsto begin with. They have their roots in the vibrations of the mind. Please see the diagram of thought.

The power of thoughts keep increasing as the mind reveals its deeper and deeper levels and it transcends all levels to reach the singularity. The mind becomes silent and reflects the essenceof creation, pure potentiality or pure consciousness.

Hierarchy of the Mind

The scientific and Western philosophies do not know “The Conscious Principle”. They try to dissect through reasoning and logic, through debates and deliberation. They use a defective instrument, the blind mind, to know the mind.

First we have to understand the genesis of the mind! What is the essence of the mind? Where did the mind come from

Pure Consciousness undergoes differentiation.

Chitta (The mind stuff)

Ahankaar (The I-sense)

Buddhi (Intellect)

Manas (Lower Mind)

Five senses of perception

Five organs of action

Five Pranas (The animating principles, crystallisation, circulation, assimilation, metabolism and elimination)

In the Conscious Principle, mind is at the lowest hierarchy. In the thought diagram we see that the multiplicity of the mind also has at the other end singularity. The other end is the essence (The pure consciousness), which can be harnessed through Meditation and contemplation. However, the mind is under the sway of lower senses of perception and organs of action through which it absorbs the matter within.

Friends I am working on some revolutionary ideas derived from the Vedic texts to change the discourse of life and living through our mind. Your involvement in terms of discussions/dialogue/participation to begin with is welcome.
