The placebo effect is the most studied phenomenon in medical and psychological science. It’s been studied for literally 60 years.?

For a randomized control study in biomedicine, half the participants are randomly selected to take the medication that is being tested for its effectiveness while the other half (the control group) is made to believe they are taking the medication or treatment that’s supposed to heal them while in fact they are just taking a sugar pill. ???
