A million Hearts, One Vision

A million Hearts, One Vision

In October ’21, a vision took flight,

A beacon of hope, a guiding light.

The Institute of Neurodiversity was born,

To challenge the stigma so deeply worn.

From the very first step, it made its stand,

Uniting voices across the land.

For every mind, unique and true,

It sought to give them their rightful due.

Workshops, forums, and global campaigns,

Breaking barriers, easing pains.

Educating leaders, reshaping the field,

A brighter future, its efforts revealed.

It reached the schools, the courts, the floor,

Opening minds and unlocking doors.

To workplaces rigid, it brought its creed:

Flexibility, fairness, and tailored need.

From cradle to grave, it is paving the way,

Ensuring no one is cast away.

Neurominority heroes rose to tell,

Their stories of triumph where they once fell.

And as each individual find their place,

The light grows brighter, fills more space.

Each voice, each story, each hand in hand,

Together we form a stronger stand.

With a vision so bold, the future is clear:

A million hearts, united here.

In a hundred nations, and always to grow,

A global force the world will know.

Through art, through science, through open debate,

It nurtures a world where all relate.

Policies change, inclusion grows,

A brighter tomorrow in the seeds it sows.

Now three years on, its work shines bright,

A tapestry woven of shared insight.

Together we’re stronger, a radiant glow,

A force for change the world must know.

For neurodiversity, it stands so tall,

A place of belonging, a home for all.

Its mission grows with each new dawn,

The Institute’s legacy, forever drawn.

Being a Dyspraxic (trouble processing information) artist, tutor, Designer I can fully relate to this. This is how I ensure I tailor my sessions for all my pupils regardless of their learning ability or not.
