This month, Milliken launched the "Meet the Makers" spotlight series, featuring the remarkable people whose dedication enhances the company's commitment to innovation, quality, and performance. Through profiles of associates from various plant locations, the series sheds light on manufacturing at Milliken through the individual perspectives of those who help make a world of difference every day.

Milliken Celebrates Safety, Innovation, and Growth in Global Town Hall

This quarter’s Global Town Hall, held October 16 as part of the European Management Conference in Amsterdam, brought together more than 150 associates from across Europe and engaged a global audience of more than 1,100 associates on Teams. CEO Halsey M. Cook Jr was joined on stage by several Milliken leaders, who gathered to talk about safety, growth, resilience, and award-winning innovation.

Michael Brown , Executive Vice President of Operations, highlighted Milliken's impressive safety performance, noting record achievements driven by increased engagement and enhanced safety protocols. David Bradley , head of Environmental Health and Safety for Europe, shared improvements across Milliken’s European operations. The event celebrated the R&D 100 Award for Polartec Powershield Pro, praised for its groundbreaking performance by Eric Yung, VP of Sales and Marketing for Polartec. The new “Meet the Makers” campaign was also showcased, spotlighting 18 associates for their exceptional contributions. Warren Collier, Senior Operations Manager, shared inspiring stories of community initiatives at Milliken’s Beech Hill location in the UK.

Saluting Our Customer Service Teams Around the World

Milliken celebrated International Customer Service Week with gratitude for our incredible Global Customer Service Teams. At the end of the month, we are hosting our Customer Service Town Hall.

Milliken Honored as Corporate Ally of the Year

Milliken & Company has been named the Corporate Ally of the Year by the Upstate SC LGBT+ Chamber at their 3rd Annual Award Gayla on October 17th. This award recognizes our unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering business environment.
