Milliken & Company Receives A- Climate Change Performance Rating from CDP?

Milliken & Company has been awarded an A- rating in the climate change category of the 2023 CDP , a comprehensive environmental disclosure platform. This recognition underscores our commitment to transparent reporting, evidenced strategy and action, and science-based net-zero targets. Notably, Milliken was among the first 50 globally to have science-based short- and long-term targets approved by the U.N.-backed Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2022. Having surpassed our 2025 indexed greenhouse gas reduction goal ahead of schedule, we remain steadfast in our dedication to further reducing our carbon emissions. Birch Plant Achieves Over 500 Accident-Free Days

We're excited to announce a significant achievement from our Birch Plant in Bad Bentheim, Germany: surpassing an impressive milestone of over 500 accident-free days! To celebrate, #TeamMilliken enjoyed a festive lunch and provided every Birch Plant associate with a first aid kit as a token of our commitment to safety. Additionally, we inaugurated our newest extrusion lines, 7 and 8, with a ribbon cutting. Thanks to the entire Birch Plant team for their dedication to safety and for successfully launching our new equipment. Together, we strive for excellence and safety in all our endeavors.

Meet Milliken's Research Fellows

They are experts in their field—researchers whose discoveries have changed our company, boosted our financial performance, and embodied our values.

They are Research Fellows, a title awarded for the first time ever during Milliken’s Spring 2024 Community of Innovators event.

The title was created after an extensive review of technical career paths for research and development associates. That effort, which included the Community of Innovator steering committee and Human Resources, involved benchmarking other organizations, collecting internal feedback, and introducing a unified title structure across the organization.

“Perhaps the top five percent of researchers at Milliken will achieve this,” President and CEO Halsey M. Cook Jr said.

Milliken Expands Associate Gift Match Program

The Milliken & Company Charitable Foundation today announced the expansion of its gift match program as part of the organization's ongoing commitment to serve the communities where Milliken associates live and work. Inspired by insights from a 2023 project, the expanded program now includes more 501c3 organizations eligible for grants. Full-time U.S. associates can support a wider range of causes, with the foundation matching donations up to $2,500 for schools and $500 for other eligible organizations. This expansion reflects Milliken's commitment to community engagement and its dedication to building a better future. Learn more here.
