The Millennials & Social Branding

The Millennials & Social Branding

The argument that millennials are lazy, party animals, have no drive, only care about music, is the millennials fault...Period.

Whether or not it is true, is not what the surfaces displays. Put another way, older people or "baby boomers" who are saying these things are only saying them because of the content they see on social media.

Every post is either about a party, a boy, some car, a quote that talks about the current emotion, etc. See...if you think about it. The baby boomers didn't have any access to these things so now that it is all they see from the millennials... it is no reason they think that about us.

IT IS UP TO YOU TO STAND OUT!

I promise you, if you take a walk down memory lane of your pictures or uploads to Facebook, twitter, etc you will understand why they perceive us this way. If you want to stand out from your peers its simple...delete the partying photos, delete the complaining posts about the boy/girl who broke your heart, etc because no employer cares. You look unstable and if you allow someone else to ruin your focus that easily and you don't even have a job yet...what will happen when you do?

Your profile is your first impression, make sure you don't ruin it for yourself.
