Millenials

Millennials are by far the largest and most dominate force hitting the market in decades. Born between 1977 and 1995, millennials total over 80 million individuals in the U.S. alone. Unlike previous generations, millennials grew up with technology advancing so rapidly that it has shaped the way they communicate, process information, interact, and do business. This demographic is unlike any of its predecessors in that aspect, which pushes us, as marketers, to adapt to new and innovative techniques that'll allow us to connect and engage with the millennial consumer. 

Let’s take a look at some numbers that will show you exactly how dominate this demographic is:

  • $1.78 Trillion in total spending power
  • $200 Billion in direct spending power 
  • They account for 25% of the population 
  • 75% of the workforce will be Millennials by 2025

With numbers like that it’s imperative to stay ahead of the curve to ensure your marketing efforts are on par with what the consumer is looking for when it comes to doing business
