Milkshake Peddler's $30 Billion Real Estate Business

Milkshake Peddler's $30 Billion Real Estate Business

The way the story was told in the movies, McDonald's was stolen from under the noses of its founders.

In fact, there are plenty of ruthless things that Ray Kroc did in those early days.

But there's no arguing that he was a true visionary.

Kroc first met the McDonald brothers peddling a milkshake brand called "Malt-a-Plenty"... and quickly discovered the efficiency of their business.

After talking them into allowing him to grow their business through franchising, he innovated their model (for better or worse).

Kroc is credited for adding both the cross-sell (would you like fries with that?) and the upsell (would you like to make that a "large?").

He also hired the guy (Harry Sonneborn) who came up with the idea to shift McDonald's from a burger business to a real estate business... leasing the land each of their restaurants sits on to their franchisees at a 40% markup.

(In 2018, their real estate holdings were valued at over $30 billion.)

The point is... you never know where great ideas will come from. ...and thinking outside the box (like Kroc and Sonneborn did) can bring you and your business unexpected rewards.

But this kind of thinking doesn't come naturally for most people.

Even if it did... most business owners are so focused on?the day-to-day of their business that they don't dedicate the kind of attention needed to "growing" it.

That's why it's so critical to have a well trained "outside" set of eyes and ears focused on your business.

And... if YOU DO WANT TO GROW with the help of a skilled outside team... you're in luck!

Because we recently completed work with a client serving as their "Outsourced Director of Marketing" - and now have an opening in our schedule for another engagement.

WARNING: Bringing an "Outsourced Director of Marketing" still requires work on your part.

Bringing our team onboard isn't about outsourcing marketing tasks (though we do that too)... rather it's about setting and carrying out marketing strategy.

After all, any effective GROWTH PLAN requires strategic thinking.

And that's what we bring to the table.

But before you say "sign me up," let's make sure we're a good fit... that your goals and expectations meet our experience and capabilities.

So, if you're interested in potentially partnering with our team... the next step is to schedule a 45 minute call with us here.

And together, we'll review where you are, where you want to be, and if/how our team can help get you there.
