Military Heroes With PTSD

Military Heroes With PTSD

As a proud father of two sons in the military and being a Veteran myself, I understand firsthand the mix of pride and worry that comes with having a child serving this great nation. I have two sons serving as I proffer this communication. One of my sons is a SpecOps Officer who is going in harm's way.

With the tension in the Middle East, my days are filled with concern and fear, highlighting the sacrifices families make when their loved ones join the military to protect our nation.

Other than getting on my knees and praying for my sons every night, there isn’t a lot I can do to help them; however, I can help others who served this great nation and are struggling with PTSD.

It is reported that 22 Veterans commit suicide every day, however the real numbers are closer to 44 Veteran suicides/day.

Let's honor and support these Veterans suffering from PTSD for their unwavering commitment to our country's safety and security, by giving to The Veterans Ranch, an organization committed to reducing Veteran PTSD suicides via Equine Therapy, Workshops and PTSD Awareness.

Thank you for sharing and speaking out. Helping your loved one through PTSD (speaking from personal experience) is very challenging and we need to have more support systems available.
