The Mile High Country Q&Brew 2020
As we collectively navigate these uncharted waters I hope this email finds you healthy. Normally this weekend we would throwing a great party called The Mile High Country Q & Brew to raise money for the kids of Tennyson. Obviously, this year is different for a number of reasons. But Tennyson’s mission remains the same.
As a good friend so eloquently put it a few years ago. “As a recipient of this email, you’ve met the following stringent criteria:
1) I know you,
2) I have your contact info., and
3) I have reason to believe you’re a decent human being.

10 years ago, The Mile High Country Q & Brew was founded on the principle that together, a small group of motivated individuals could make a significant impact on the lives of children by raising awareness and money for Tennyson Center - and have a lot of fun doing it.
Since then we have put on this event to raise as much money, at as low of cost possible, and have been a significant contributor to Tennyson helping raise roughly a $2MM in the last 9 years.
This year Tennyson has taken a more active role in the event and are trying a Facebook Live Concert. Lindsay Ell will be taking the stage and auctioneer Gary Corbett will be asking for contributions. What I am asking of each of you is to get involved. No matter the amount but something to help the kids that have endured abuse and neglect and are finally getting meaningful help.
What I’m suggesting is that you give $50. Likely a drop in the bucket for each of us. If you would like to give more - great! Together we can finish off the first 10 years of this event the way it started. By leading from the front and taking a small step towards a big goal.
As I began I will close with another quote from the same friend, “Thank you for your consideration. This is likely the first and last request I will ever make of you, so don’t miss your opportunity to be on the right side of history. No pressure, of course.”
