Michael Fox Orr is an AV rated attorney practicing business and civil litigation at Dawson∣Orr in Jacksonville. Michael has devoted much of his legal career serving in leadership positions with The Florida Bar, The Jacksonville Bar, and voluntary bar associations, always striving to better the legal profession. 

He has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine and an Up & Comer by Florida Trend Legal Elite. While serving The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors, Michael was recognized with the Most Productive Board Member Award. Recently, Michael was honored with the opportunity to co-author the third chapter of “Civil Trial Practice” published by The Florida Bar in conjunction with LexisNexis. He has tried several jury and bench trials in multiple counties, and has argued appeals before the 1st , 2nd , 4th and 5th DCA’s. More importantly, Michael is married to a skilled lawyer and wonderful wife, Eileen, who was his first endorsement when he decided to run for the Board of Governors.
