Migration, Religion and Adaptation at COP28

I had an opportunity to attend some meetings in Dubai at the end of November leading up to COP28, as part of my role serving on the Independent Governance Committee for gold at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC). Ultimately, we need a systems-level response to climate change that will come from a devolved series of efforts across society. The epistemic exchange at such grand gatherings has value in galvanizing such an organic response, even if the COP28 declaration outcomes may be more modest than we would have hoped.
