Migration is a Human Right

Migration is a human prerogative, more than 272 million people migrated around the world in 2019. Clearly you know what happened in 2020l. So it is really not about Nigerians. People from developing economies are always looking for better economic opportunities in the US, Europe, Russia, UAE and Saudi Arabia among others. Some of this countries and regions have the highest number of migrants globally.

For instance, there are more than 45million Immigrants in the United States. The idea here is that the human spirit has a right to experience Gods creation through travel and emigration. What is unfortunate is when people have to leave their country for reasons other than seeking better economic opportunities, like fleeing from war, abject poverty, oppressive regimes and fear of rebuttal.

The associated challenges of emigration include not knowing where to leave and when to go. Inadequate information from trusted authorities, and the stigma associated with leaving your home country for 'greener pastures'. Finding finance could be very hard too, and is mostly the factor that leads to trafficking and other hideous experiences emigrants from developing countries must face. Then there is process, extremely complicated ones for those seeking legal migration. Fraudulent providers are all over the place, they are called agents. On top of all these, intending migrants cannot easily make migration related payments, to institutions, Schools and providers like their attorneys.

This is why we created Vesti. The finance app for those seeking study, work and migration opportunities around the world. Within weeks of launching, we have seen amazing traction.

We ask that you join others in taking a look at the product. With Vesti a user can find all migration resources in one point and get access to best in class financial services infrastructure for making migration related payments.

This Is outrightly insightful sir. What got me really and obviously sadly in the later part of the context is where you said - "What is unfortunate is when people have to leave their country for reasons other than seeking better economic opportunities, like fleeing from war, abject poverty, oppressive regimes and fear of rebuttal." And whilst I choose to not say much on that as its already sad.... you clearly stated the associated challenges of migration being ignorance of action on where to leave to and when to go, the misinformation in the process, finance and capitally the stigma I'm thrilled at how VESTI is beautifully thought-out as a product to provide solution to the Financial challenges which in turn so promisingly solves social problems like trafficking... I feel challenged and do hope we could have more social leaders standup as solution providers to other key challenges - also helping to reorientate as regards the related stigma yet clearly curating a mental shift on the moral disposition for migration. Thank you for this, Olusola.

In real time, the reason I’ll migrate is because, my country is becoming more and more inhabitable by the second.
