Hi Guys! Hope you will be doing good. Today I will answer the following question
I have a scenario where there are document libraries in classic view subsites and it is required to send the information to a new modern view site.
Troubleshooting Tip:
Please follow the steps given below
Note: Please double-check that both sites have at least Edit permissions.
1- First, switch the library to a modern experience through library settings --> advanced settings.
2- Then, select "move to".
3- Choose the destination library. Then click Move here.
4- Then the following result will appear.
5- Or if you want to keep the information in the original document library, you can choose to use "copy to", and then repeat the previous steps.
Note: If you have a large number of files to migrate, don't do it all at once because it will take a long time. It is suggested that you migrate in batches.
Please also NOTE that: In some cases, even after changing the list experience settings from the library settings, the same UI would appear. This is due to cookies in your browser! To troubleshoot this problem, I recommend taking the steps below.
1- Simply clear your browser data and reload the page to fix the problem.
2- Try another browser and switch to a modern experience.
3- Whether there are any web parts in the library, please make sure there is no web part.
Click gear ---->click Edit Page.
Then check whether a web part is used here. Delete all of them. Return to the page.
Thanks for reading this article. Hope it will help you out !!
