What’s your favorite thing about Avion Express?

It would be the environment and family-like culture. Even though, the company is big and constantly expanding, I always feel heard and appreciated. Every crew member is welcome to the office and management will always find some time to have a meeting with you in person and answer your questions. For that, as one of the bigger companies in aviation - Avion Express really shines among the others. Our cabin crew are very open, we tend to share our ideas for improvement in an open and respectful way. The CEO wandering around the office, having a coffee conversation with a junior is perfectly normal here, the whole company feels like one big family. Therefore, I was never afraid to share my ideas or doubts and always knew I will be listened and responded to.

Can you find balance between flights and hobbies/studies/personal life?

It is not a secret, that being a cabin crew member can be challenging due to long flying hours or hectic schedules. Yet my schedules never were so flexible and adaptive anywhere else than in Avion Express. With this opportunity, there is plenty of free time for myself and my hobbies. I am also a final year student at the university and have a huge Saint Bernard dog, so having a schedule which allows for a balance is exactly what I’m looking for.

Although, some months can be busier than others, crew schedule planning team gives the opportunity to swap our duties, request off-days in advance for the future and even have wishes for specific layovers. I love the fact that I can work on weekends or very early in the mornings. Therefore, I am never stuck in the traffic and can attend my appointments and activities during the day.

What about growth opportunities at Avion Express?

I like that Avion Express always seeks for improvements in the employees. If you are motivated and wish to grow, there are plenty of career opportunities waiting for you. I already had a few years of flying experience when I joined Avion Express. After I joined, it took me less than a year to become a Senior Cabin Crew and I still wish for more. I asked to do an internship at the office, marketing department, where the team was very happy to have me there. As the company is growing quickly, you only need a motivation, and all the doors will be open for your career growth.

What are your favorite things about your daily cabin crew life?

Tenerife, Spain, is the destination that appeals most to me. With the cabin crew benefits I was able to have a week-long layover, fly my mom there and spend her birthday together. I love the fact that we can travel, see new places, have these little “holidays”, and call it work. I cannot imagine a better profession for myself.

My favorite part of the day during the flight is the boarding. Although it is challenging and has a time pressure, I love seeing the smiles on people faces who carry their holiday mood already. My most favorite type of passengers are the ones who are flying for the first time. The excitement in their eyes makes my heart warm. I wish more people knew how wonderful this job can be.?
