Midwich brings magic to Smiles House

Before Christmas we were joined by 7 fabulous fairies from lovely local business Midwich, who are supporting Nelson's Journey over a two year period.

The volunteers, who included a director of the business, came to clean toys at Smiles House, before putting up our Christmas decorations and helping pop bottles of beer in their carriers ready for the beer and bake sale the following day. They also brought in a hamper of books for our lending library - a lovely present for us and the families we support!

The team also brought with them the lovely duo of Kerry and Mark from Splice Creative in Diss, who made a short film about the volunteering day, as well as interviewing staff members from both organisations and a family that Nelson's Journey are currently supporting.
