Midwich on the acquisition hunt

As you will see from the story below, distribution giant Midwich Group has been on the acquisition hunt yet again. This time it has invested in German pro-audio firm prodyTel Distribution. Midwich has bought 51% of the company's share capital for an initial cash sum of €8.5 million. There can't be many (if any?) European markets that are out of Midwich's reach these days.??

We also covered a team, led by researchers at the University of Washington, that has developed deep-learning algorithms that let users pick which sounds filter through their headphones in real time. ? ?
