Things are really heating up over here now Summer is in full swing (unless you’re in the UK). The team has been enjoying early finishes on?Summer Fridays, and we’ve just about recovered from our DV summer conference – London really didn’t know what had hit it when the whole Digital Voices team headed out on a scavenger hunt!?

August certainly wasn’t the beginning of the Summer celebrations, as at the end of July, we took home the gold prize for?Best Brand Engagement Campaign with Duolingo?at the Global Influencer Marketing Awards??

The campaign content achieved over 3 million views and impressions, and drove huge brand awareness for the education app with a Gen Z UK audience. We couldn't be more proud!

Kick Ass Campaigns?

Digital Voices X Duolingo

Duolingo?is the world's number one way to learn a language and is the world’s most downloaded education app. More recently, the brand became known as a viral sensation on TikTok, loved by Gen Z. Duolingo aimed to continue this success beyond TikTok, and to build app awareness among a new demographic of UK Gen Z audiences on YouTube.

We partnered with?Chunkz and Filly, two of the UK’s most recognizable creators, who posted content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter to target a Gen Z audience and drive app downloads.?

We shot and produced an?entertaining video?of the two macro-creators cooking a Colombian recipe with all instructions and ingredients written in Spanish, highlighting the ease and convenience of Duolingo.?

Results:?

  • 3,321,525 organic impressions?
  • Achieved 110% of target?
  • 4.55% average engagement rate?
  • 7% TikTok engagement rate
