Midlife Change...

For the last 2 years, as well as advising on Private Medical Insurance, I've been working on trying to support Men in Midlife.

But within every well, sometimes you have to concede that no matter how hard you dig, you might not find water.

Many claps ?? "It's such a great thing you are doing...!" But when you ask "How would you like to work on that?".... Silence.

And therefore, my apologies if you've enjoyed these Midlife Monthly's, but for my own sanity (after all, it is Mental Health Awareness Week) this is the last one.

Follow the Signs

Over a weekend away, on a beach walk, I literally drew a line in the sand and said "It's time to take notice of the signs".

Over the last few months, I've had people ask me about Speaking, Presenting, and how to use those techniques to create impact, and if needed, clients.

Change is hard Chris Wilson, but not as hard and painful as staying in a place you don’t belong. Good for you. for having the courage to draw a line and move forward in way that serve you and serve others ??

As someone who works with men in mid-life I completely understand Chris Wilson, it's incredibly challenging, and if I had a pound for everyone who tells me that it's important work and how much they admire me for doing it I could retire today. Getting men to change is hard, getting men to commit is hard, getting men to admit their life isn't what it could be is hard. I will continue to carry the torch and stay in the game. Thank you for your help and support along the way, you've been an inspiration to me and I look forward to taking part in and supporting your new venture.

Chris, I am sorry to read this. I have only been posting about midlife for the last few months and specifically did not want it to be female-only, but I get very different responses from men and women on the topic and taking action. I was going to write about it next week....let me know if I can quote you on it.
