Midjourney tutorial - Part 2. Face swapping with Picsi
Face Swapping with Picsi and InsightFaceSwap
Picsi and their bot InsightFaceSwap allow you to swap faces in images that you have generated in Midjourney. Whether you're a content creator aiming for unique brand imagery, a marketer seeking personalized ads, or someone crafting visually impactful presentations, InsightFaceSwap simplifies the process of creating relatable, attention-grabbing visuals. By refining the faces in your artwork, marketing materials, or presentations, you can convey the right message and foster stronger connections with your audience.
Step-by-step instructions
2. Use the /saveid command to upload your photo. It's best to upload a selfie on a plain background with as few details as possible. In the ‘idname' field enter a name or number and press Enter.
3. Use the /imagine command to generate an image. Below is a quick and concise example of a prompt. Replace the part highlighted in bold with the desired scenario and description of appearance.?

4. Enlarge one of the four suggested images by pressing U1-U4 and upscale it for better quality. Sometimes, the shape of the face might not be as typical as the models generated by Midjourney. Try using a well-known personality, such as an actor, whose facial shape is more similar to yours. For this purpose, various applications and websites are available, like starbyface.com.
Note: An image that has had its face replaced no longer relates to Midjourney, and therefore, Midjourney features such as Zoom, Vary (Region), and others cannot be applied to it. Remember to edit your image before performing a face swap in InsightFaceSwap.
5. Click on the enlarged image with the right mouse button and select Apps - INSwapper.
This will generate an image with the swapped face, which you can save by right-clicking on the image.
This is just one of the many capabilities offered by Midjourney. In the coming weeks, I will publish new insightful articles diving deeper into its features and creative possibilities.
