Middle Tennessee State University - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

It just happens to be that I have some cousins who live in the Murfreesboro, TN area, so why not check out Middle Tennessee State University?!!

Little did I know, but according to their home page, Middle Tennessee State University has gained some nice attention from Among America’s Best Six-time Princeton Review Top 390 Colleges. Forbes’ America’s Top Colleges. The Wall Street Journal’s America’s Best Colleges. U.S. News & World Report’s Top Social Mobility. #trueBLUE

Their webpage states it is the No. 1 producer of graduates for the Greater Nashville economy and has been named to The Princeton Review’s list of the Best 390 Colleges in the U.S. six years in a row. Way to go TRUE BLUE! It is also the top destination for transfer students in Tennessee. I really liked the mission statement for the university.

That is usually a great place to start when trying to decide on what college or university to attend. See what the college or university publicly states in their mission statement and then compare to what their student run newspapers are reporting. That’s a secret nugget that I don’t want everyone to know, so please keep it to yourself.
