In the middle of a crazy busy day... Thank You

Have you ever had a moment, no matter how brief, when you look up from your to-do list or put down your spreadsheets and realize there is reason to celebrate? Right now. Today.

I had one of those experiences recently.

In the last couple of months, Mitek has been acknowledged by four distinguished companies, each an influencer in their own right. As we celebrated those recognitions, I realized something it is too easy to forget when you are moving fast from one task to the next: when they highlighted Mitek, they honored every member of the Mitek team, from our experts and technologists to those whose job it is to care for our clients. They honored our families, who sometimes bear the brunt of our work schedules, and the companies that place their faith in us, without whom we couldn’t succeed.

Each contributed to the serendipity of these moments in their own way. To them, and to the companies that selected Mitek, I want to stop and sincerely say thank you.

• Gartner recognized Mitek in its 2023 Gartner? Market Guide for User Authentication, spotlighting our Mitek MiPass, IDLive? Face, and IDVoice? Verified as having the capabilities to “minimize account takeover risks and optimize employee and customer user experience as a part of a cohesive cybersecurity strategy that reflects human-centric design.” That’s high praise from an influential voice, and it made my week. OK, my year.?
• Liminal, a leading advisory and market intelligence firm specializing in the digital identity, cybersecurity, and fintech markets, named?Mitek a leader in its Link? Index Report for Account Opening in Financial Services. The report evaluated more than 120 providers offering account opening compliance and fraud prevention for banks and financial services companies. It highlighted Mitek as one of only 22% of those surveyed that currently possess the necessary product capabilities to meet buyer demands, spotlighting our document verification and biometric-based systems, as well as our patent portfolio. This is a high bar that we are still high-fiving about.
• In September, we announced that Equifax will leverage Mitek’s AI-powered biometric identity verification and liveness detection capabilities to continue enhancements within its own robust solution offering, an approach designed to detect complex identity risks throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from onboarding to portfolio servicing, all without impacting customers’ experiences. Being associated with renowned companies like Equifax is an honor all on its own.
• And what an occasion it was when Javelin Strategy named Mitek a leader in its 2023 Know Your Customer Solution Scorecard. “Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols are the foundation of robust identity verification and play a crucial role in safeguarding against identity fraud and financial crimes,” Javelin said, announcing the scorecard results.

When life gets crazy and there’s more to do than hours in a day, it's easy to lose sight of times when things go right. As I start to set goals for myself for the coming year, I think this is one I want near the top of the list: take the time to celebrate when things go well – and thank those who got you there.
