Midbrook’s Return: Completed Dojo and Media Feature at Leigh Judo Club

This week, Midbrook Steel Buildings had the pleasure of revisiting a significant project from April 2023: the completed dojo building for the Leigh Judo Club. We were also interviewed for a media project for Lowton Community Hub, highlighting our involvement in this fantastic initiative.

Midbrook played a pivotal role in constructing the steel-framed building and handling the groundworks for the new dojo. The project showcases our expertise in delivering cost-effective, sustainable, and high-quality steel frame buildings.

Glowing Feedback

Luke, Director at Leigh Judo Club, was delighted with the new facility. With words of admiration, he praised Midbrook for our economical approach, leveraging steel and insulation to craft a cost-effective yet sturdy structure. In addition, the steel building was designed to seamlessly integrate solar panels in the future, ensuring enhanced sustainability and reduced operational costs. But it wasn’t just about the building. Luke emphasised the unique human touch Midbrook brought to the project. Among the steel beams and construction materials, there was a real sense of togetherness and genuine care, making the entire project feel like a collaborative journey.

One of the features that caught Luke’s eye was the innovative use of magnets to affix posters, flags, and decorations effortlessly. This small yet significant detail adds great value to the low-maintenance and user-friendly design. Despite the rapid pace of construction, Midbrook never compromised on quality. Any challenges that arose were met with swift resolution, a testament to the team’s professionalism and dedication to client satisfaction.

The Importance of Purpose-Built Steel Buildings

During our visit, we discussed the advantages of purpose-built buildings versus repurposing community halls (or similar types of shared buildings). For clubs and organisations needing a dedicated space, steel frame buildings are the ideal solution. Midbrook can manage everything from planning and groundworks to the completion of the steel building, ensuring a seamless process for our clients.

Media Interview

As part of the media project by Lowton Community Hub, our Groundworks & Sales Manager, Robyn, was interviewed. Robyn shared insights about the project’s significance to Midbrook and personally. This project was exceptionally rewarding due to its positive impact on the community. We are excited to see the video launch and feel honoured to be part of such a meaningful initiative.
