Mid-Year Mental Health Check-in

As we enter into the second half of 2023, it’s important to pause and reflect on how you are doing mentally, socially, and emotionally. It’s the best time to take a step back and really assess how you felt at the beginning of the year versus how you are feeling now. Try to identify the things that brought you joy and focus more on those things for the remainder of year.
Journaling at the end of my days has been healing for me. Routinely writing down my thoughts and feelings has helped me get to know myself better. I am now more in tune with what makes me happy and confident, which allows me to do more of those things. Journaling has also helped me identify situations and people that are toxic for me. For the sake of my mental health, I will do my best to avoid those situations/people.
How is your state of mind at this mid-year point? I challenge you to have periodic therapy sessions with yourself, where you process your emotions about stressful situations. And if you can, write them down as this helps release the intensity of those feelings.?
