Mid-Year Check-In: Reflect, Dream, Achieve

Hey everyone, it’s my mid-year check-in time! ??

I love milestones, and hitting the halfway point of the year is one of my favorites. It’s my chance to take a step back, get really honest with myself, and figure out where I’m crushing it and where I need to step it up. This isn’t just a feel-good exercise; it’s my motivator to get my butt in gear where needed and celebrate my wins.

Here’s how I do it, and maybe you’ll want to try it too:

My Check-In Areas:

  • Health and Wellness
  • Relationships: Self, Romance, Family, Friends
  • Fun and Adventure
  • Business/Finances
  • Personal Space: Home, Office, Car, Belongings
  • Personal Growth

The Method:

  1. Rate Each Area: Use a 1 to 5 scale.
  2. Action Plan: For any area that isn't a 5, determine what's needed to get it there.

The Goal:

This isn’t about forced positivity. Sure, gratitude is awesome, but this is about waking up, dreaming big, and going after what your heart truly desires. Be brutally honest about where you’re at so you can start making those big shifts.

Share the Magic:

While it’s great to do this for yourself, there’s a lot of magic in getting others involved. Encourage your spouse, kids, friends, and teammates to join in. It leads to much more interesting and substantial conversations than the usual blah, blah, blah.

This process fuels my ambition, passion, drive, and imagination. I love imagining what it would be like for every area to be a 5.
