Mid-Semester Milestones!

To celebrate finishing the first half of this semester, I thought Blog #9 would be an excellent opportunity to reflect on what I have been working on this semester thus far:?

I’m excited to share that I recently started a new position as a student research assistant at the 美国北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校 , focusing on an AI and elections research project with CITAP. I have the pleasure of working alongside Shannon McGregor , Lorcan Neill , Heesoo Jang , and Samantha Nichols , who have provided great insight into this role and the challenges it may bring. I look forward to seeing how our results unfold over the coming weeks.

As Chief Executive Officer of @H, a couple of my responsibilities include reaching out to local businesses around Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Durham, North Carolina, to create our client list for the upcoming semester as well as opening applications to students at the 美国北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校 to join our communications agency and have the opportunity to work under these clients. I am happy to share that with the help of our executive team, Caroline Boulware , Jennings Lin , and Margaret Batchelder we have a complete client list for this fall semester and have added 43 students to work in our agency.?

In one of my courses, MEJO 644: The Washington Experience, taught by Daniel Kreiss , we have been tasked with participating in a semester-long simulation where our class groups run a political candidate campaign during a mock election. As the digital director for my team, it has been a wonderful experience getting to test my skills in strategic planning, content creation, and website management. Our team, Sam Bohmer , Camila Sotomayor , Samantha Nichols , and myself, are working towards winning our candidate’s bid to represent Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district.?

It has been an exciting start to senior year, and I can’t wait for what’s to come. I’ll have more updates soon!
