Mid November 2023 Crypto Boost

We are fielding many questions about the market: What happened? Why now if there is still no ETF in the US? What's going on with the Alts? Our favourite: is it too late?

Our answer is plain and simple (as is this Boost):

1. Digital Assets are now mainstream: there is no denying it. The lines are now blurred between traditional finance and decentralised finance. One would be hard pressed to find any respectable asset allocator without Digital Assets in mind.
2. No, digital assets are not going anywhere. Fact: the technology offered by blockchains and various applications built upon them solve many scaling and cost challenges found in TradFi - there is no denying it and it is just a matter of time for old tech to be replaced.
3. Throughout the Bear market development never stopped and products and services are more readily available and easier to use.
4. Applications and protocols are learning that tokenomics have to improve to ensure value accretion to tokenholders thus increasing chances of survival and returns on investment.
5. The narrative is back: TradFi is struggling, Central Banks are in a Debt pickle, interest rates have likely peaked (10-yr yields speaking mountains), and alternative growth prospects and store-of-value must be found.
6. Bitcoin is great and if it is: Defi applications, GameFi platforms, Payment rails and cross border transactions, and so much more will produce exponential user traffic in the years to come. In other words, the Alt coins have A LOT of catching up to do relative to Bitcoin. We are already seeing this in the Top 50 digital asset.

Digital Assets find themselves in a sweet spot: if the status quo prevails (meaning: increasing debt levels, peak interest rates to lower interest rates) the RISK-ON trade is back and everything goes up; however, if there is some sort of Black Swan event then alternatives to the current system must be found or used (albeit could see some short-term pain, ultimately these alternatives would prevail).

It's a WIN-WIN so to speak in the medium to long term.

Bitcoin Technical Outlook: So far, as we hinted in our previous update, the market has failed to break the $38k level as big selling volumes have entered around these levels. Perhaps signs of profit taking and a stretched overbought market for now? A pullback would be a good thing, in our view, and would set the stage for the next move higher. A break through $38k would open up the $42k level rather easily while short term support can be found at $35.5k and $32.5k levels, respectively.
