Mid-career blues? I can help

Over the last two years or so I have unknowingly morphed into a mid-career coach. I have helped over 200 professionals understand their mid-career blues, sometimes reconcile, sometimes re-energise, and get back on track.
I did not start out to be a coach. I just wanted to help. The help I did not get in my early and mid-career. To be the coach I did not have.
And then in early 2022 LinkedIn surprised me by placing me in India's Top Voices for Career Coaching and Job Search. I respect LinkedIn's process and accept the honour in all humility.
But now I have to live up to the responsibility.
Job Search for Mid Career Professionals.
Having spoken to hundreds of mid-career professionals, and being one myself earlier in life, and actively coaching over 200 of them, the number one issue for them is - Job Search.
There is hesitation in accepting that one is looking for a job. And if you can't accept it, you surely won't do anything about it. Not taking the first step of even making a resume is very common. Over 75% of mid-career professionals I have spoken to did not have an updated and ready Resume/CV. Most needed a week to make one.
After having a Resume, many could not take the next step of applying. And of course, a small % who got interview calls did not prepare.
Why did they not prepare? Preparing alone is tough. You need a coach. Someone who can help. And most people want to keep their job search so secret that they themselves fail to do anything about it.
Anand Vaishampayan is a top job search coach and has over 50m views across social media on his tips on job search and career shifts. And he is my guest on my #managebetter LinkedIn Live show next.

Book Summaries and Reviews
Every Monday for over six months now I share a book review or summary. I read or re-read a book to write a crisp summary. These days I listen on Audible and some books take over 7-8 hours to read and listen to. And then an hour to write. But I love doing this. For myself. And am happy to share what I write.
Here is a list of my recent summaries on LinkedIn . Hoping you like it. If you do, please like, comment, and share to encourage me.
