Microsoft Vs Google: Biggest Tech Battle Started Again!!

In 2023 the game between the two largest/giant companies of the world (Microsoft and Google) might face a different graph. Why and how, here I am trying to dig it out.

Microsoft vs google is not a new game for us. It's since their birthdate. Lets see some data regarding their market occupancy.

As of February 2023, Google's office suite controlled over 50 percent of the market share for major office suite technologies worldwide. Microsoft's Office 365 is the other major competitor in the market and has recent lost the lead to Google Apps.

Google Chrome is a sure winner against all other internet browsers over the world in 2023. Microsoft Edge can't even grab the second position behind google chrome.

Now if we talk about search engine battles then no one even close to google in 2023.

If we have a look over year to year revenue, then google would be a proven winner for last few years.

So, there is no debate to declare that google is the winner against Microsoft in all aspects. What is Google's biggest strength let's find out.

After 2022, Alphabet's biggest revenue generating strength is Google Search & Advertising. That means if once the search engine fall down then the whole revenue will be affected hugely.

On the other hand, Microsoft's least revenue gainer is their search engine Bing.

This is how Microsoft can hit Google with their mild strength. I bet it can hit hard.

The whole game started turning over when chat GPT launched, and Microsoft indulged with chat GPT/Advance Ai system at very beginning.

ChatGPT was launched on November 30, 2022 by San Francisco based Open AI. It is built on top of OpenAI's GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 families of large language models (LLMs) and has been fine-tuned using both supervised and reinforcement learning techniques. ChatGPT was launched as a prototype on November 30, 2022.

After the chatbot launched the people gone crazy with it. Even openAi is currently one of the most rising websites in world.

After collaborating with this advance Ai chatbot Microsoft announced their new Bing(Feb 7, 2023). The new Bing is based on a large language model from OpenAI that is more powerful than ChatGPT and customized specifically for search.

And Microsoft 365 Copilot. Microsoft 365 Copilot was just announced at The Future of Work with AI event presented by Microsoft on March 16, 2023.?The tool uses artificial intelligence to generate content across a range of applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

Though Google launched Bard to fight back but I am pretty sure this is going to be a hard battle for google. Well personally I am a Bing user now and suggest you try it out.
