Microsoft Viva Sales: A companion to CRM Systems

Data is a critical part of a salesperson’s ability to guide potential customers through the sales process. In current implementations of CRM for customers of any scale, Salespeople are leveraging the configurable business processes and intelligence within the CRM applications, but the challenge remains the same with entering the data manually from the major channels they use day in and out (Outlook and Teams).

Historically we had different ways to improve the seller experience by utilizing different add-ins and apps on Outlook, but they lack intelligence, intuitive experience, and compatibility with different CRM applications.

Viva Sales introduces a modern way of selling with seamless integration between Microsoft 365, CRM and Teams. Now sellers can capture new customer contacts with a few clicks from Outlook. Key AI-driven insights such as previous activities, customer meetings and files exchanged will enrich the seller’s experience. Meeting Insights is another amazing capability to focus on conversations in the meetings and then make notes for actions.

With preview availability, I was able to try out the experience first-hand and see how I can advocate for my customers to leverage these amazing productivity tools to improve the experience of the seller user group. 'Stop Collecting - Start Connecting'
