Microsoft Teams on Windows 11
Microsoft's latest Windows release, Microsoft Windows 11, has recently been revealed by the company. The new version of the operating system will have a taskbar that includes its own Teams app for communication.
It was an ingenious idea on behalf of the tech giant during the time of COVID-19 when users are seeking more ways in which they can stay connected with one another as well as work remotely. A large number of employees have reported feeling isolated while working from home.
To curb this issue and ensure efficient and seamless communication, Microsoft , in light of the recent innovation with Microsoft Teams, is doubling down and coming up with more innovations for this software platform.
Using AI To Enhance Experiences For Remote Participants
To ensure maximum inclusion of remote participants in online meeting rooms, Teams Rooms will expand screen real estate via new video layouts.
If you are a remote participant and want to be as much a part of your team's discussion as any other person, then this is for you! Now when those who can't physically make it to a meeting show up on screen, they will appear more life-like.
To help remote participants engage more in the meetings, Microsoft is bringing innovative features from desktop to Teams Rooms, including:
●??????Spotlight
●??????Live reactions
●??????Chat bubbles
●??????Pinning multiple video streams
Microsoft just made video conferencing more powerful
Thanks to the app, remote participants can see who else is in the room. This will allow for smoother and easier hybrid meetings by enhancing camera technologies with AI-powered features.
?Some of these features use:
2. Crestron Flex’s Perspective Clarity Tool, which makes low resolution images sharper while also reducing the glare from sunlight coming through windows into an office space.
3. Jabra's Soundspace Focus tool that helps isolate sound sources so people speaking aren't drowned out by background noise distractions.
Integration of Viva Insights App Into Teams
The recent proliferation of virtual meetings has been a challenge for employees and their managers. Since COVID-19, weekly meeting times have doubled and this has only increased employee stress levels further.
Microsoft Viva, an innovative employee experience program launched by Microsoft that encourages remote employees to be productive and well-rested is now integrated into Teams.
Employees can take time for themselves when they need it the most while being able to keep up with their workflow at a fast pace without compromising on their productivity or quality of service.

Bringing Headspace to the Viva Insights App
Microsoft is now providing guided meditation exercises from Headspace to Viva Insights App in Teams.
This will enable employees to start their day grounded and focused, and help them relax before a big presentation or disconnect from work completely at the end of an exhausting day.
Viva Focus Mode
Remote work has disrupted work-life balance with many employees working longer hours than before the pandemic . ???????????????????????
Microsoft wants your employees' personal time protected so later this year, they are introducing the Focus Mode feature for their Viva Insights App.
It will include music from Headspace with timers, helping you get important tasks done without worrying about taking breaks. Breaks will be planned at regular intervals, allowing more balance.

Expansion of Fluid Components for Teams Meetings
Meetings are becoming so prevalent nowadays that many of us have found ourselves spending more time in meetings than we spend at our desks.
This is not only a problem with the sheer number, but also how unstructured these sessions can be – often causing people to lose track of what was discussed or who needs to do what when it comes time for follow-up later on.
Fortunately there's an easy fix, all thanks to Microsoft.
Microsoft recently announced the new Fluid components, which provide the perfect solution for those who want to collaborate with their team in real time.?It eliminates the hassle of switching between multiple apps because you can do it all within one platform.
Moreover, it allows you to edit live experiences in real-time and share across Teams.
More than just being able to edit a live experience together as it happens, Microsoft is expanding these capabilities for meetings on OneNote, Outlook calendars, and Whiteboard.
Teams' new Fluent features will help you manage the digital overload by giving meeting participants access to agenda and task management right within their chats from one central place.
And if all goes well, your company will never again need another post-meeting reminder about just exactly where things stand after meet ups.
What's next with Microsoft Whiteboard?
Microsoft has made it easier for remote attendees to contribute via a Whiteboard session.
The new feature will allow participants to add existing content to the digital canvas as well as co-author with other contributors.
Templates are available that can help groups ideate faster when using this technology, as well as improve their ability to follow along with contributions from various sources on screen
This update will be available in the summer of 2021 according to Microsoft. The new features will allow anyone to bring existing content to Whiteboard and co-author.
Final Word
The way we work is changing. More and more people are working remotely or from home, which means that physical boundaries between work and life have been eliminated.
When it comes to managing this new way of work, companies like Microsoft are playing a major role in helping employees work more efficiently.
