As I mentioned in a post last week,?meeting organisers of Teams meetings will soon be able to assign?the control of breakout rooms to other designated presenters in a meeting.?This is now scheduled to roll out beginning mid-September '21 and on desktop only.
Meeting organisers will be able to assign and remove presenters as breakout rooms managers from the same tenant, to manage the meetings breakout rooms indefinitely or set a time limit as seen in the screenshot released by Microsoft.
Assigned presenters will see the breakout rooms icon in the toolbar and will be able to take control of the rooms. Only one presenter can manage the rooms at any one time. The breakout room manager will be able to :
Breakout room managers will also be able to enter the rooms just like the meeting organiser.
You can make attendees a presenter in advanced of the meeting, by navigating to the meeting's options in your calendar, and setting 'Who can present' to 'Specific people'. and then selecting colleagues who can present.
You can also promote an attendee to a presenter in a meeting by clicking the 3 dots next to the attendee name and select 'Make presenter'
