Microsoft Takes AI Image Generation to the Next Level

Microsoft AI Designer is a tool that enables users to create and publish a wide range of content, including marketing materials, social media graphics, and more, using AI technology. Microsoft AI Designer is integrated into Microsoft 365 and leverages the company's AI capabilities to streamline content creation and enhance productivity.

Cons

1. Limited capabilities: While Microsoft AI Designer is a useful tool, it may not offer all the advanced design features that professional designers require.
2. Dependence on AI: The tool relies on AI to generate designs, which may not always produce results that meet the user's expectations or requirements.
3. Limited image resolution: Some users have reported that the generated images have lower resolution than they would prefer, which can affect the overall quality of the final design.

It's important to note that these pros and cons may vary depending on individual user needs and preferences, and users are encouraged to explore the tool and evaluate its suitability for their specific design requirements.

At the moment, it seems that Microsoft AI Designer does have limitations in terms of the aspect ratios it can generate. The default aspect ratio is indeed 1:1 (square), and it appears that the AI image generator currently does not support generating images with a 16:9 ratio.

However, this does not mean that all generated images have to be square. Users can customize the size and dimensions of their designs by adjusting the width and height manually. While this may require some trial and error to achieve the desired aspect ratio, it is possible to create designs with different proportions using the tool.
