Microsoft SaaS offerings include a wide range of applications, such as Microsoft 365 (AKA Office 365 with Windows), Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric.

Even if an organization uses only Microsoft SaaS offerings, this will automatically engage usage of Azure Active Directory under the hood.

For SaaS application customer organization is responsible for managing information, data, accounts, and identities;

Microsoft is managing applications, network controls, operations systems, etc.

There are three groups of Microsoft SaaS services:
