Microsoft PowerApps - Discover your Developer Skills
Working with system is fun as you explore new tools that inspires you and let you dive into new areas you did not know before. Microsoft PowerApps is one of them. I just had an amazing experience trying to customize a form with coding without really knowing what I was doing. However, after some guidance from Microsoft documentation it suddenly worked and the form was displayed in the way I wanted. I finally realized why developers love what they do, and even if I am only able to do a small fraction of it, it excites me.
What is really exciting is the doors it opens up. Being able to customize the appearance of business apps in this simple way, should be an eye opener and opportunity each business can capture on to gain some advantages. Additionally, with the simple design and interface to work in, it let us discover new developer skills we might been unaware of. Forward it might be a motivator for graduates and an enabler to inspire more women to enter into IT.
The PowerApp also lets you connect easily with over 200 connectors for many popular cloud services and on-premises solutions, e.g. Excel, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Azure to mention some. Before publishing the Apps built, they can also be "played" in the tool to see how they appear and if they work as planned. The Apps can once published be run on web, iOS or Android devices. So even to customize forms and fields on the web, you can use Microsoft PowerApps.
