Scene 1: Starting Microsoft Outlook

Noble sits at his desk, looking at his computer screen. He takes a deep breath and opens the Start menu.

NOBLE (muttering to himself)

Noble types “Outlook” into the search bar. He right-clicks the Outlook icon and selects “Open file location.”

NOBLE (smiling)

?Noble right-clicks the Outlook executable file and chooses “Send to” > “Desktop (create shortcut).” He watches as the Outlook icon appears on his desktop.

Scene 2: Creating and Sending a Message

Noble is now ready to send an email. He clicks on the Outlook icon on his desktop and opens the application. He navigates to the Home tab and clicks on “New E-mail.”

NOBLE (focused) Let’s get this message out.

He clicks the “To” button and types a name in the Select Names window. After selecting a recipient, he types the subject and message.

NOBLE (typing) Subject: Project Update. Message: Hi Team, here’s the latest on our project…

Noble clicks on the Message tab and adjusts the importance to high. He checks the delivery receipt option.

NOBLE (determined) I need to make sure they get this.

He clicks “Send” and leans back in his chair, looking satisfied.?

Scene 3: Receiving Messages

Noble glances at the right side of the Navigation Pane, noticing the unread message count.

Noble finishes reading the email and prepares to reply. He clicks the Message tab and selects “Reply.”

I should start with “NOTICE RE:” for clarity.

He types his reply, ensuring it’s clear and concise. After composing, he clicks “Send.”

Scene 5: Creating a New Distribution List

Noble decides to streamline his communication. He clicks on the Home tab and then Address Book.

He follows the steps to create a new contact group, entering the name and adding members from the address book.
