Microsoft Fabric November 2023 update
As I said in my Power BI Update post Power BI November 2023 Feature Summary | LinkedIn, there is a lot going on at Microsoft at the moment! So much so that I am unable to do it justice in this short post.? If you look at the official blog there is a huge list of features and I for one am not able to get my head around them all!?
I suggest you watch the video contained on the above page and, if anything particular is of interest, dive back to the blog text to investigate further.? Skip to the 16:00 minute point in the video if you already watched the Power BI one for November.

Fabric is GA
The main news is that Fabric is now “GA” (generally available). In essence this tells us that it is here to stay (not that it was in much doubt) and Microsoft are more confident in the stability and reliability of the offering.? It means we can purchase Fabric and start to build our data and analytics solutions using it.?
That said there are always risks involved when choosing to become an early adopter and we should expect bugs.? I feel that now is the time to run a proof of concept in order to explore the options and which “pattern(s)” may best suit your use cases.
