Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018: Watch for It on October 1st

Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2 is coming your way on October 1st. As always, a new release is chock full of new features and functionality. Some of these are features that clients have been clamoring for. One of the changes that Microsoft instituted in recent years is that every new release incorporates several “Top Requested Features.” These are features that actual users have requested from Microsoft, as opposed to features that the Microsoft Dynamics GP development team thinks that users should want.

The October 1st release includes 4 features that were specifically requested by Dynamic GP clients: Maximum password length has been increased to 21 characters; New password expiration notification; SmartList Designer Favorites can now be displayed in the Nav List; Hide Business Analyzer for all users. Of course, those are just the tip of the iceberg because GP 2018 R2 also incorporates dozens of new enhancements to financials, purchasing, sales, and more. Check it out.
