Microsoft has suddenly announced a press event about AI in search. It's taking place today, and only journalists are invited. There will be no live video, so for now, we can only guess what Microsoft will be announcing. My guess is a ChatGPT integration with search.?
Protecting kids
Replika, a virtual friendship AI chatbot, is now banned in Italy. The regulators say they can't allow Replika to collect kids' data and risk "offending emotionally sensitive people." Well, by this logic, they can also ban online games and any other digital product that collects user data (which is pretty much every digital product).?

The trend for virtual pop stars is on the rise in Korea and will probably spread to the US and then the whole world. Virtual bands already have millions of fans and dozens of millions of views on YouTube and other platforms. This means that soon we'll see the same trend in other domains like podcasts, adult products, etc.
YouTube is king
According to Pew Research, young people between 13 and 17 spend most of their time on YouTube, followed by TikTok and Snapchat. Almost 70% of teens don't use Facebook and it seems like in 20 years, no one will need it.
